Sports Credentials runs Level I courses throughout non-Metropolitan Queensland, and Level II courses are generally run on the Gold Coast and in major regional centres. 

(Level II courses in Brisbane are organised by Qld Athletics Association). 

 

Teachers' Certificate courses are also conducted on behalf of the Department of Sport and Recreation Queensland.

Information on how to upgrade from a Teachers' Certificate course to a Level I will be available at Courses, and will soon be available on this website.

 

A new curriculum for the Level 1 courses was introduced after April 1, 2010. It is known as Level 1 Beginning Coach. It relates more to the 'how' (the process and skills) of coaching, rather than the 'what' (event specific knowledge) of coaching.
