Please Note!!! Any and all sessions may change from time to time due to “away” commitments such as National Championships or for other important reasons. It is essential that you phone first if you haven’t been to our sessions before, or if you are returning from a break.
Sports Credentials Pty Ltd has several Coaching Policies of which all athletes and parents should be aware. Click
HERE to read their policies.
Sports Credentials Pty Ltd and their staff also abide by the Australian Sports Commission's recommended
Codes of Behaviour and expect all athletes and parents to abide by the appropriate sections of this code.
The fees have been reviewed and we are pleased to advise there are no changes from last season. However, we WILL require assistance from parents, family and/or friends, at competitions. An Officials Course is being hosted in June and it's free for Club members, parents of under age Club members, and for members of the Club Alumni. A further review of fees may be required mid-year. These fees are still less than the current “Recommended Scale of Fees” as set by the Australian Track & Field Coaches Association.

We are pleased to advise we have on-site EFTPOS available for payment of fees etc.
It is a requirement that all athletes we coach are registered through Athletics Queensland/Australia. This ensures that all athletes we coach are covered by insurance while training, competing and while travelling to and from training or competition. The 2008/2009 season finished on the 31st March 2009. Registration renewals are due as from 1st April 2009 and will cover athletes until 31st March, 2010.
The fees for the current season (from now until 31 March 2010) are as follows:
| Athletes born in 1996 or earlier |
$120 |
| Athletes born in 1997 or later |
$90 |
For athletes who are currently members of a Little Athletics Centre in the U13 to U15 age group, or who are current members of Qld Masters Athletics or the Qld Professional Athletics League, there is a reduced membership fee of $40 for the season.
If registration is paid by EFTPOS a 3% surcharge will apply, making the fees $123.60, $92.70 or $41.20 respectively.
Athletes under the age of 23, who have not yet shown proof of their date of birth (e.g. birth certificate, passport, or baptismal certificate) should organise to do so as soon as possible. This can be brought to the track where a copy can be made, and the copy can be endorsed and kept on record.
We introduced a new uniform last season. The uniform is Nike brand and is very smart. Stock is available for purchase from the canteen, or from Victory Sports at the Robina Town Shopping Centre. The colours are navy, white and gold.
All registered Gold Coast Victory Club members must wear their Club uniform AND their current registration numbers whenever they compete. Registration numbers must be worn front and back for all events, with the exception of high jump and pole vault, where one number only may be worn (front or back). This is an Athletics Australia ruling.
With the new requirements regarding insurance, it is important that all people competing at QA/AA sanctioned events are currently registered. At each of the competitions that we hold here on the Gold Coast we have to verify whether the competitors are currently registered or not. Athletes who are not currently registered, and who have not been registered ijn the previous season, may complete a “Trialling Member” form. This enables them to compete at up to 2 competitions (anywhere in Australia), and still be covered by insurance. If these people then wish to continue to compete, they must become members of an Athletics Club.
Athletes who have been registered in the previous season with an Athletics Club are UNABLE to compete in the new season until they have registered.
The Winter Series track and field competition timetables are available elsewhere on this website. It is VERY important we have parental assistance for all events. Our competitions are highly regarded by all levels of Athletics and we’d like to keep up the good work. We will try to offer an Officials course in the near future. This will be at greatly reduced cost to all Club participants, and will also include a Rule Book.
Cross Country and Race Walking
The Brisbane Inter Club Cross Country and the Race Walking seasons have commenced. Please contact us for timetables if you are interested.
It’s important to remember though, that success is not all about results at Championships. It’s about personal bests (PB’s), technical improvements, and most of all, about having fun!!!
Enjoy your season.
