Squad Training
IMPORTANT MESSAGE for Sports Credentials Training Squads:
Sports Credentials now offers middle distance coaching. With an impressive history of middle distance running himself, Blayne Arnold will be developing a squad of keen middle distance runners. Fresh from a stint at Falls Creek where he worked with some of Australia's leading distance athletes and coaches, Blayne is keen to share his knowledge with aspiring young runners.
Training sessions are at the Gold Coast City Athletics Track on Mon, Tues & Thurs afternoons at 4.30pm, and on Saturdays at 7.30am.
Call the track on 5594 9329 to book in.
Training with sprints/hurdles and jumps squads recommenced on Monday, 2nd May. We hope that all our squad members are enjoying their break from the track, but that they are having an 'active' break from the formal training.

COMPETITION
With the new requirements regarding insurance, it is important that all people competing at QA/AA sanctioned events are currently registered. At each of the competitions that we hold here on the Gold Coast we have to verify whether the competitors are currently registered or not. Athletes who are not currently registered are NOT eligible to compete. They must become members of an Athletics Club.
Athletes who have been registered in the previous season with an Athletics Club are UNABLE to compete in the new season until they have registered.
The Winter Series track and field competition timetables are available elsewhere on this website. It is VERY important we have parental assistance for all events. Our competitions are highly regarded by all levels of Athletics and we’d like to keep up the good work.
